About the Role
Oversee and coordinate the operational delivery of VFX shows, ensuring resources, schedules, communication, and processes are managed effectively to deliver projects to the highest quality standards and within established objectives.
Responsibilities
- Plan and track production, including creating and updating schedules, monitoring progress, and developing mitigation plans for risks.
- Manage client and team communication, organizing reviews, reporting on project status, and facilitating cross-departmental information flow.
- Manage operations and drive continuous improvement by ensuring resource availability, overseeing time tracking, and identifying process enhancements.
- Lead and support production coordinators and assistants, foster a positive team environment, and motivate the team to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- Previous VFX production management experience, ideally in film, television, or advertising.
- Solid understanding of the VFX production pipeline and cross-department coordination.
- Experience with production-tracking tools such as ShotGrid.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear, collaborative communication skills with both internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work to demanding deadlines and manage multiple production priorities.
- Professional fluency in English.
- French is an asset.
