About the Role
The Enterprise Applications team supports and enhances core business systems for middle and back-office operations, acting as a liaison between business and technology development teams. They are responsible for requirement documentation, process engineering, system implementation, and application management to ensure platforms meet strategic business objectives across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document current-state and future-state processes, and clarify functional needs across Workday and related enterprise applications.
- Assist in converting business requirements into clear technical specifications, system configuration needs, reporting requirements, and integration design documentation.
- Support requirements, enhancements, and process improvements across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Banking, Revenue Management, General Ledger, and related finance operations.
- Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Workday integrations, including EIBs, RaaS reports, APIs, SFTP integrations, and related documentation.
- Monitor production integrations, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with technology and business teams, and help identify root causes and sustainable fixes.
- Assist with Workday configuration, enhancements, testing, releases, and production deployments across Finance, HCM, Payroll, and related business functions.
- Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and operational reporting solutions while supporting data quality analysis and issue resolution.
- Support regulatory, audit, management reporting, and internal control requirements by maintaining documentation and providing day-to-day functional and technical support to users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 2-4 years of Workday experience.
- Experience supporting Workday Financials, HCM, or Integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Workday Financial Management modules.
- Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.
- Experience with EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, and RaaS.
- Understanding of accounting and finance operations.
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expense Management, or General Ledger processes.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, or SQL.
- Financial services industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration; advanced degree a plus but not required.
