About the Role
The Program Coordinator directly supports the Assistant Director and/or Program Director in the operation and administration of site programs, ensuring compliance with OASAS 822, Medicaid, and State/County regulations for outpatient substance use disorder treatment. This role involves working with the management team to monitor policies, provide leadership in the absence of directors, manage a caseload, and ensure appropriate levels of care and clinical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned treatment program.
- Support and participate in program development and planning.
- Address program issues with leadership, including unit objectives, annual goals, and service delivery.
- Actively participate in meetings, utilizing problem-solving skills and providing feedback.
- Maintain communication and teamwork with referents and collateral agencies to enhance clinical services.
- Identify, plan, and implement activities to improve program performance and maintain census.
- Complete and manage all documentation and monthly reporting requirements.
- Review client charts for compliance and timely documentation.
- Exercise due diligence in quality care delivery in line with the company’s Medicaid Compliance Plan.
- Monitor program performance and outcomes.
- Communicate any violations of the company’s Medicaid compliance plan or personnel policies to compliance officer or supervisory structure.
- Assist in coordinating and facilitating administrative and clinical meetings, including group supervision.
- Directly observe clinical practice of supervisees and document supervisory sessions.
- Engage employees in performance review and development plan processes.
- Develop skills to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely responses and reporting of program data and staff activity.
- Review and submit schedules for effective utilization of time and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of strong program management experience.
- 1-2 years of clinical supervisory experience in an OASAS funded facility.
