About the Role

This role provides SPG Producers with a dedicated resource for sales enablement, prospect intelligence, and partnership support, covering various referral types and cross-sell opportunities. It involves driving sales initiatives, augmenting sales strategy execution, and vetting lead data to allow Producers to focus on relationships and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive corporate and divisional sales initiatives, augmenting Producers in sales strategy execution.
  • Support cross-sell efforts across SPG Ancillary Benefits, SPG Specialty Benefits, and other SPG divisions.
  • Act as an extension of Producers, including finalist meeting preparation, scheduling, and summarizing discussions.
  • Maintain Producer-facing CRM records (Salesforce, Monday.com) and ensure seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Flag stalled, at-risk, or dead opportunities to Producers and leadership, coordinating CRM updates.
  • Distribute pipeline and in-force client reporting from CRM sources.
  • Keep HUB regional engagement status tracking current.
  • Vet lead data, investigate and consolidate lead information, and develop a quality-driven lead strategy with Producers.
  • Run CORE checks and other diligence and eligibility steps for prospecting and qualification.
  • Monitor and interpret intent data to flag prospect activity and surface timely opportunities.
  • Research sales leads and competitive intelligence, delivering analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain divisional sales tools for eligibility, pricing, and referral readiness.
  • Build and maintain sales enablement collateral for Producers, including one-pagers, discovery cards, and toolkits.
  • Support discovery calls and partner capability summaries for new referral or partnership opportunities.
  • Support email campaign execution, scheduling, and tracking in partnership with marketing.
  • Coordinate event and meeting logistics for producer-driven events and carrier meetings.
  • Manage collaboration and communication between matrix partners on producer-facing initiatives.
  • Build relationships with internal colleagues and broker and carrier partners.
  • Support efforts to align and grow through producer coaching and collaboration.
  • Adhere to best practices and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years' experience in employee benefits, sales operations, or a related field.
  • Understanding of HCM and ancillary products (dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental health).
  • Comfortable working across CRM and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, Monday.com, and prospecting or intent-data platforms).
  • Comfortable triaging a large set of data with acute attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong writing and design instincts; comfortable building polished collateral and decks without heavy creative direction.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with organizational change.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Self-starter who excels with minimal oversight or direction.
