Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate product processing.
  • Monitor backorder reports and production scheduling and coordinate resources to ensure minimal backorders.
  • Ensure overall quality of the items produced.
  • Create inventory transfers and production orders to meet established production schedules and service levels.
  • Create all needed paperwork, complete all required functions, and electronically receive finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory functions.
  • Ensure inventory integrity for components and finished product.
  • Communicate with product divisions on backordered items and substitute items.
  • Act as back-up for production equipment, material handling, and warehouse operations.
  • Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training, development opportunities, and performance management processes.
  • Build and maintain employee morale and motivation.
  • Ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.

Requirements

  • Conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Experience managing workflow of large operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to model active listening.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • High volume manufacturing experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
