About the Role
The Loan Processing Specialist (LPS) will be responsible for converting contracts, processing positive endorsements, and securing necessary approvals while maintaining service level agreements. The LPS will also handle client communication as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review and process loan contracts and positive endorsements within established service guidelines
- Verify and analyze client’s repayment ability, and assess risk for sensitive business sectors and policies
- Obtain approvals from credit risk team and management on high-risk loans
- Work closely with account managers on financing deals, conduct appropriate follow-up with brokers via outbound calling and email to confirm information and obtain documents when required
- Update account records as needed
- Operate in compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and French)
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Possess an energetic and enthusiastic approach to work and a desire to go the extra mile in customer service
- Collaborative team player, able to build relationships with team members, and internal and external clients

- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and MS Word
- Must be fluent in both English and French written/verbal communication
