About the Role

Canaccord Genuity Corp. is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the equity research team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well with others, and be willing to take on new challenges. Occasional overtime is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Equity Research and Research Analysts
  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements
  • Assist with HR initiatives and office management
  • Process expense reports and invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain various databases, records and other documents
  • Perform other administrative duties for the department
  • Assist with special projects as required

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Interest and experience within the financial services industry
  • Post-secondary education required; Degree preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to excel under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
  • Proof of citizenship, permanent residence or eligibility to work in Canada with no restrictions
