About the Role

The Inventory and Fulfillment Associate is responsible for supporting the accurate and efficient movement of inventory and fulfillment of customer orders at Lisa Gozlan. This role processes and prepares orders for shipment, receives and organizes incoming inventory, supports inventory counts and quality control, and maintains an organized fulfillment environment to help ensure products are handled accurately and delivered according to Lisa Gozlan brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, verify, and package online orders, store transfers, and wholesale orders for shipment with precision, according to Lisa Gozlan brand standards.
  • Print shipping labels and process shipments through ShipStation, FedEx, and other shipping platforms.
  • Process manual shipments when standard automation is not available, including orders with system errors, inter-facility transfers, customer resizings & repairs.
  • Monitor and resolve shipping-related customer inquiries, including address corrections and inventory discrepancies.
  • Process customer returns by inspecting items for condition and completeness, restocking merchandise according to brand standards, and updating applicable records.
  • Receive, count, and stock incoming inventory from suppliers (product and packaging); verify quantities against packing lists and communicate receipt details to the Inventory Coordinator.
  • Receive incoming orders from vendors, including office supplies, marketing assets, and retail fixtures; distribute deliveries to relevant team members or departments.
  • Receive incoming product samples and distribute to the Design & Development Specialist.
  • Conduct quality controls on incoming merchandise, checking for defects and ensuring material quality and finish align with original samples and brand standards.
  • Set aside flagged items and communicate quality control findings to Senior Management for review and resolution.
  • Conduct full and cycle inventory counts at fulfillment and retail locations, recording accurate data and communicating findings to Senior Management.
  • Organize inventory to optimize pick speed and accuracy for daily order fulfillment.
  • Flag inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or quality issues promptly for investigation and resolution.
  • Support operational projects and initiatives as needed, including process improvements, facility reorganizations, new location setup, retail pop-ups and activations, and team training.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of fulfillment workspace and workstations.
  • Follow all safety protocols for handling luxury goods and confidential customer information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in order fulfillment, shipping, warehouse operations, retail, or logistics is an asset.
  • Comfortable learning and using platforms such as Shopify, ShipStation, FedEx, and inventory management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in accuracy and presentation.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when handling customer or inventory issues.
  • Role involves lifting packages up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working at various workstations; accommodations available upon request.
