About the Company
- The Butcher Shoppe (TBS) is one of the largest independent meat processors in Canada.
- Priding itself on carrying only the finest quality meats, our team of artisanal butchers converts fresh meat to custom specifications, doing things the 'old fashioned way'.
- This ensures that the demands of our discerning high-profile customers are met, including restaurants, hotels, event venues, casinos, and other food service establishments.
- Located in Toronto, Ontario, not only does TBS manage a complex supply chain spanning over four continents but makes over 1,000 deliveries a day.
- These deliveries are made using a fleet of 45 company trucks, as well as multiple third-party transport providers.
- Our people-first philosophy has provided a strong foundation for growth.
- This has allowed us to continue to expand and innovate, while remaining true to our heritage of artisanal butchery.
- Over the past 40 years, TBS has grown steadily to meet the demands of the foodservice industry, and now, direct-to-consumer through e-commerce and a full-service onsite retail store.
