Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on various crane equipment.
  • Operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
  • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
  • Read and understand operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification.
  • Prepare for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and other regulations.
  • Fill out working reports, hour’s reports, time sheets, work orders, and other company and customer paperwork.
  • Complete expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician.
  • Mechanical experience required with electrical and hydraulics.
  • Candidates will be required to take a skill assessment.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends is a plus.
  • Travel is required periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals for field techs.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required for field technician positions.
  • CDL preferred.
