About the Role

As the Senior Sales Executive, you will own provincial and health-system Digital Front Door (DFD) deals end-to-end, managing the sales cycle, account strategy, and forecast. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and collaborate with executive sponsors, the Bid Strategy Lead, Solutions Engineering, and Delivery & Customer Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run a named account plan for every province and health authority, including stakeholders, buying process, budget cycle, political calendar, and procurement vehicle.
  • Break system-level programs into phases with defined scope, value, and signatures, forecasting phases rather than the entire program.
  • Agree on a mutual close plan with customers for deals over $1M, detailing signers, paper path, procurement and legal steps, and dates.
  • Lead provincial RFP pursuits with the Bid Manager, covering bid/no-bid decisions, win themes, pricing strategy, orals, and demos.
  • Pair executives with ministers, deputy ministers, and health-authority leaders, briefing them and maintaining their sponsor role.
  • Build relationships with at least three stakeholders per account to avoid deal dependency on a single person.
  • Maintain Salesforce accuracy against stage entry and exit criteria and commit numbers in bi-weekly forecast calls.
  • Build the delivery plan alongside each close and remain engaged through go-live.
  • Collaborate with delivery and integration partners to strengthen bids or extend reach.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience.
  • 5+ years selling to Canadian provincial governments, health authorities, or large health systems.
  • Proven track record of closing multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreements through 12–18+ month public-sector cycles.
  • Credibility with ministers, deputy ministers, and health-authority executives.
  • Hands-on experience with formal RFPs and Canadian public procurement.
  • Discipline in account planning, phased deals, mutual close plans, and accurate forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Experience selling software combined with services and implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
