About the Role

This role leads and directs highly complex, cross-functional projects within the Global Cyber Security organization, utilizing various development methods. While not a people leadership role, it requires managing project plans, budgets, and stakeholder alignment to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project plans, roadmaps, and execution using various development methods (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Manage project changes using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance, identify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Align stakeholders and team members by ensuring a common understanding of project expectations.
  • Implement approved actions and workarounds to mitigate risks.
  • Document high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Leverage shared services on delivery model and best practices.
  • Support or ensure the standardization of processes for implementing projects across all clients.
  • Execute short-term strategy for the function.
  • Solve difficult problems impacting a project and identify ways to improve current customer needs.
  • Manage projects using various development methods with moderate risk.
  • Manage budget and direct activities of project teams.
  • Execute necessary charters, templates, tools, and associated PMO artifacts.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of prior corporate and global project management experience.
  • Demonstrates deep Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Project Management process and tools.
  • Experience communicating effectively with high levels of management and direct client contact.
  • Experience with software methodology development processes (ADLC, SDLC, Lean).
  • Ability to create presentations.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple key business priorities.
  • Project budgeting/costing expertise.
  • Ability to solve very complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
  • Strong understanding of a variety of technology solutions.
  • Highly experienced with dev/ops principles.
  • Motivational leadership skills.
