About the Role
Trinity | Built Environment is seeking interns for a paid summer internship program. This is an opportunity to gain experience in acoustical and integrated technology consulting for world-class projects.
Responsibilities
- Work on data downloads and analysis
- Conduct noise code research
- Research acoustical products and publications
- Review architectural and mechanical drawings
- Perform site surveys and field work
- Observe and seek mentoring from senior staff
- Learn company protocol and policies
- Learn and assist in AutoCAD
- Assemble follow-up reports under direction
- Learn calculation techniques and assist with calculations
- Learn and assist with computer models
- Become familiar with Quality Control Manual and other company technical and professional standards
- Maintain electronic files of project data and cut sheets
- Maintain current manufacturer catalogs and industry standard handbooks
Requirements
- Current undergraduate and graduate students with majors in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, and/or related fields
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate verbally
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
