About the Role
Green Street is seeking a financial journalist to lead infrastructure news coverage in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on digital, core infrastructure, power, oil & gas, and renewable energy. This role is for individuals who excel at uncovering exclusive stories, building teams, and defining editorial direction, possessing a startup mindset and a strong APAC network.
Responsibilities
- Lead a geographically diverse team covering project finance and M&A across APAC.
- Uphold rigorous editorial standards for accuracy, integrity, and balance.
- Build a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Partner with colleagues globally to enhance the editorial offering.
- Analyze readership data, refine content, and improve audience targeting in collaboration with leadership.
- Identify opportunities to expand coverage and utilize technology to optimize newsroom workflows.
- Contribute to special reports, rankings, and data-driven projects to establish Green Street News as an authority in infrastructure finance.
- Represent Green Street News in the market and at industry events.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a business or financial journalist.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure markets across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing news teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive exclusive, market-moving reporting.
- Must be currently authorized to work in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
