Responsibilities

  • Operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Perform job duties onsite, when necessary.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in engineering from a four-year university, or four to six years of related experience with a high school diploma or G.E.D., or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.
  • Work environment noise level is usually loud.
