About the Role
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager, this role involves following established procedures and policies to produce high-quality products while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency to meet company goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance to facility and grounds as assigned.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance Programs.
- Perform general maintenance including painting, building repairs, plumbing, electrical work, boiler maintenance, and cleaning drains.
- Responsible for inventory of parts for the assigned area.
- Maintain food safety and food quality by completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
- Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must have a background in Electrical and PC.
- Experience in plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment repair.
- Knowledge of equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical starters, switches, and three (3) phase motors.
- Must provide own hand tools.
- Must pass pulmonary functions test and pass and maintain respirator fit test annually.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to be a multi-task individual.
- Ability to work independently or with little supervision.
- Employment is subject to verification of applicant’s identity and eligibility for employment in the United States as required by immigration laws.
