About the Role
This role will lead the development of a modern data platform using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Power BI, shaping data strategy and building scalable solutions for reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our modern data platform.
- Design scalable data pipelines and solutions.
- Drive data governance, quality, and security standards.
- Manage and develop a small team.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business.
- Support our future analytics and AI roadmap.
Requirements
- Experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Analytics Engineering leadership.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL.
- Experience delivering cloud-based data solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- A passion for turning data into meaningful business outcomes.
- Experience within education, apprenticeships, or another regulated environment (Desirable).
- Microsoft and/or Databricks certifications (Desirable).
- Experience with Power BI semantic models and self-service analytics (Desirable).
- Knowledge of AI-ready data platforms and emerging analytics technologies (Desirable).
