About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Partner will manage the entire recruitment process across the UK & Europe, partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver proactive direct search. This sole recruiter role will also support employer brand development and drive value initiatives for a high-quality, diverse workforce, encouraging enhancements to processes, systems, tools, and training.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to define resource requirements and support the requisition approval process.
- Identify future skill needs and build a talent pipeline.
- Partner with the Hiring Manager to understand role and person requirements, advise on market conditions, and agree on the best approach.
- Challenge Hiring Managers to consider diversity, behavioral, cultural, and team fit beyond technical skill-sets.
- Liaise with the Hiring Manager, Candidate, Exco, and HR from intake meeting through to onboarding to ensure a seamless experience.
- Proactively promote our employer brand and value proposition.
- Directly source candidates via multiple channels, with a heavy focus on LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Proactively engage prospective candidates to pitch our employer value proposition (EVP) and qualify against company, role, and person requirements.
- Engage and manage recruitment agencies on exception to support hiring.
- Take ownership of the entire onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new starters.
- Present and walk through the shortlist with the Hiring Manager, conduct market referencing, and interviews.
- Work with the business to add value throughout the recruitment cycle to make better hiring decisions.
- Support and coach Hiring Managers on recruitment best practices and adherence to talent selection standards.
- Support the balanced assessment of a candidate’s alignment with our technical, behavioral, and cultural profile.
- Support diversity & inclusion initiatives and ensure this is embedded in our talent proposition.
- Ensure an outstanding Candidate experience at all times.
- Continuously improve our talent acquisition approach, systems, tools, and processes.
- Actively share knowledge, best practice, and new ideas across the team.
- Assist the automation and standardization of the recruitment cycle with a heavy focus on embedding Bamboo applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Update Bamboo in real-time with a high level of accuracy and integrity, ensuring a clear audit trail.
- Produce and analyze recruitment MI & talent metrics to shape our approach.
Requirements
- Significant recruitment experience, preferably within an in-house recruitment model.
- Candidates from an agency background must demonstrate capability to work on broader talent projects/tasks.
- Previous experience overseeing the onboarding of new joiners and working with relevant stakeholders to deliver a seamless and efficient onboarding experience.
- Strong track record delivering recruitment across the UK & Europe and across various departments.
- Advanced market knowledge within Technology & Financial Services.
- Experience building upon and improving existing recruitment processes and supporting value initiatives (e.g., D&I, recruitment training, etc.).
- Previous role working in a Fintech business.
- Highly professional and able to quickly establish credibility and maintain positive relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written and in meetings.
- Proactive self-starter with the drive to deliver results.
- Works collaboratively and in a solutions-focused manner to achieve measurable outcomes that improve business performance.
