About the Role

The National Account Executive I, Club Coke is responsible for developing and overseeing the DSD Club Coke program, supporting frontline field sales to win with independent retailers and drive Coca-Cola's strategic priorities. This role involves developing direct sales strategies to achieve sales objectives, selling products and services to local and independent accounts, and possessing comprehensive knowledge of customer management, revenue growth, financial acumen, and local sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee field sales activities to ensure accurate execution of Club Coke agreements, monitoring compliance and maintaining engagement with retailer commitments.
  • Track and report on Club Coke program performance, analyzing metrics related to retailer engagement, sales volume, and strategic priority achievement.
  • Manage and lead annual business planning with strategic goals to develop and execute key partnership initiatives, category programs, and drive brand sales.
  • Contact/visit customers to review and identify strategic direction, problem areas, and opportunities to promote product growth.
  • Develop relationships with key internal functions including frontline sales, sales initiatives, myCoke, finance, and commercial.
  • Stay informed of competitive activities within responsible geographies and communicate appropriate activity in a timely manner.
  • Lead stewardship routines across functions to measure and communicate departmental activities against agreed-upon plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of national sales experience within the beverage or CPG industries.
  • Must possess the ability to seek alternatives and recommend best solutions that gain all parties support and lead to win-win results.
  • Ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects.
  • Knowledge of third-party supplier/contractor culture/core competencies is required.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams (sales, operations, technical, and customer service) to deliver successful customer onboarding and project execution.
