About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Identity Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of enterprise-scale identity and access management initiatives within the Authentication and Directory Services Engineering function. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end delivery of identity solutions spanning Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and related authentication platforms. The successful candidate will bridge technical engineering teams with business stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining operational excellence and security standards.

Responsibilities

Manage delivery of Authentication / Directory Services / MFA infrastructure projects from inception to completion
Coordinate cross-functional teams to design and implement global identity solutions for hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)
Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives
Facilitate communication between technical engineering teams and senior management stakeholders
Ensure adherence to established change control procedures, governance frameworks, and operational discipline
Drive continuous improvement of identity and access management delivery practices and methodologies
Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations related to identity solutions
Champion adoption of Zero Trust security principles across identity projects

Requirements

Demonstrate an ability to lead and coordinate global teams across multiple time zones and work independently when required
Strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
Enthusiastic, eager, and personable with strong leadership presence
Ability to cope well under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively
Proven track record of successful project delivery in complex enterprise environments
Proven experience managing enterprise-scale identity and access management projects
Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches)
Experience managing timelines, and resource allocation for technical projects
Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies across complex programmes
Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in regulated environments
Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders including engineering teams, security, compliance, and business units
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with confidence presenting to C-level executives
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
Self-motivated with a collaborative team-player approach
Enthusiastic, personable, and professional demeanour
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong adherence to change control procedures and operational discipline
Experience translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
