About the Role
The Sales Planner supports National and Regional Sales Account Executives by managing day-to-day sales planning activities and ensuring the timely execution of client proposals, orders, and related sales initiatives. This role partners closely with the Director, Sales Planning to prepare reports, analyze sales data, and provide operational support that contributes to the achievement of sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage all assigned accounts from start to finish.
- Create cost sheets as requested by clients.
- Maintain CPM history for clients.
- Create and maintain all contracts for booked business.
- Act as a liaison between Account Directors and inter-office departments (Campaign Management, Exhibitor Relations, Creative Services, and Finance).
- Track campaign progress by creating and monitoring Pre-flights, Mid-flights, and Post-flights.
- Serve as a point of contact for Account Director’s clients when needed.
- Ensure all assigned clients’ campaigns are scheduled and updated in the traffic and inventory system.
- Serve as the first point of back-up for all Planners.
- Perform projects and tasks as assigned by the Director, Sales Planning.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 3 years of media industry experience required.
- Knowledge of sales processes, CPM’s, and inventory management preferred.
- Knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and Word required.
- Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have the ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Must have the ability to deal with all levels within the organization.
