About the Role

Jobber is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Automations Platform to join the AI Workflows product organization. This role is crucial for developing the system that enables Jobber Teammate, an AI assistant for home service businesses, to automate tasks. The goal is to enable every task a service provider repeats to have an automation, making it possible for any product team to ship an automation without needing AI expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of home service businesses and the repeated work that consumes their week.
  • Own the automation platform: how automations are authored, how they execute, and how they're evaluated and improved.
  • Make it fast and cheap for any Jobber team to ship an automation, and measure yourself on their throughput rather than your own.
  • Build the highest-impact automations yourself, and make them easy for service providers to find, enable and trust.
  • Build an Evals platform, that makes it easy to iterate on and improve automations so the quality bar is constantly raising.
  • Bring the product requirements to our AI Foundations engineering team, who build the underlying agent infrastructure.
  • Define the metrics that tell you the platform works: cost and speed of building an automation, engagement with the ones we ship, and growth of the library.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with evidence of shipping real AI products and seeing them through to long-term outcomes.
  • A growth mindset and someone who thrives in change and ambiguity.
  • Experience building an AI platform that was genuinely adopted.
  • Experience shipping LLM-backed or ML-backed products, with real respect for how they fail.
  • A track record of making a contested technical decision and making it stick.
  • Comfort thinking in unit economics.
