About the Role
Geode Health is seeking passionate Psychiatric Physician Assistants (Psych PA) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to join our growing team in the greater Austin market. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric healthcare services, including evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy, contributing to our mission of making mental health more accessible, affordable, and effective.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric healthcare services.
- Conduct initial mental health evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform medication management.
- Provide supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.
- Utilize a measurement-based care approach to track outcomes and inform patient care.
- Partner with Psychiatrists and Mental Health Therapists for coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.
Requirements
- Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of Texas.
- Active DEA license.
- Active CDS (Illinois Providers only).
- Proficiency in using an EMR system.
- Ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions.
