About the Role
Under the supervision of the medical provider, the PCT’s core role is to assist provider staff with basic patient care in the urgent care setting. PCT’s commit themselves to taking and documenting vitals, assisting with front desk coverage, point of care testing, stock maintenance, and daily QA.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months related experience in a health care setting or completion of certified nurse assistant course and/or experience as a paramedic, emergency technician is desired
- Honest, punctual, and performs the job in adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with patients, family members, employees and others
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use of hands for various job functions, and occasionally required to sit, kneel, or crouch
- Access to information is based on a “need to know” and is the minimum necessary to properly perform assigned duties
- Use or disclosure shall not exceed the minimum amount of information needed to accomplish an intended purpose
- Reasonable efforts shall be made to ensure that information is adequately protected from unauthorized access and modification
