About the Role

As a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will manage a high-volume recruitment portfolio and collaborate closely with hiring managers to attract, engage, and recruit top talent. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience at every stage, from developing recruitment strategies to proactively sourcing passive candidates and guiding managers through the hiring process. This opportunity allows you to make a tangible impact and contribute to building strong teams at Canada Life.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume, end-to-end recruitment portfolio across various roles and business areas.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively source and engage talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, direct outreach, and other recruitment channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through market analysis and continuous relationship building.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate applications.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on recruitment, interviewing, and selection.
  • Create compelling job offers and candidate communications that reflect our culture and employer brand.
  • Deliver an inclusive and exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, ideally within a large, complex organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high-volume recruitment portfolio across various roles and levels.
  • Strong proactive talent sourcing skills and experience engaging and influencing passive candidates.
  • Experience developing and implementing effective recruitment and sourcing strategies.
  • Solid interviewing, candidate assessment, and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); familiarity with SuccessFactors is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Bilingualism (proficient in French and English) is required to serve both French and English-speaking clients.
