About the Role
The Kannon Franchise Pricing Strat team, part of Group Strategic Analytics (GSA), develops a scalable and flexible Front Office pricing and risk management system. This role focuses on improving processes and systems using Machine Learning, initially on trade flow and RFQ for the swaps desk.
Responsibilities
- Partake in the development of the core trading system library for Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets Rates, Flow Credit, Commodities and Emerging Markets Debt Trading business.
- Improve processes and systems using Machine Learning, with an initial focus on trade flow and Request for Quote (RFQ) flow for the swaps desk.
- Collaborate closely with Traders, Quants, and other team members to build out the trading and risk management platform.
- Support the build-out of the Global Markets strategic analytics platform in partnership with Corporate and Investment Bank Technology.
- Support Global Markets businesses migration to the single strategic analytics platform.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in finance, particularly in fixed income derivatives (exposure to interest rate swaps is a plus).
- Good programming skills, utilizing programming languages primarily C++.
- Good numeracy skills, ideally in Machine Learning, but as a minimum A level maths.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and provide support across various teams.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize against tight deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude who can take multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
