About the Role
Cerity Partners is seeking talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Investment Solutions team for a summer internship program in 2027. This paid internship offers 40 hours per week and provides exposure to the institutional investment marketplace, focusing on multi-asset class portfolio management and various investment management firms and strategies. It's an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.
Responsibilities
- Assist the investment team with portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
- Support external manager updates through calls and meetings, compiling notes for team distribution.
- Maintain investment-related databases, spreadsheets, and models for tracking client portfolio exposures.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative reviews of existing and prospective external managers, assisting in client portfolio recommendations.
- Conduct asset class and capital markets research.
- Produce clear and concise written reports of performed analysis with limited supervision.
- Generate information, reports, and analysis for senior leadership and clients as directed.
- Collaborate virtually with a team to create a financial planning or investment research project.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Finance or a similar field with a strong academic record.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Skills
- Strong interest in public and private capital markets and portfolio management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
