About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape challenging digital products with real impact, from the initial idea to the production-ready interface. You will combine outstanding UI design with systemic thinking and take responsibility for visual quality, scalable design systems, and consistent product experiences. In interdisciplinary teams and direct exchange with our clients, you will provide impetus, question requirements, and confidently advance design decisions.

Responsibilities

You are holistically responsible for the design of challenging digital products, from discovery and conception to production-ready interfaces.
You develop user-centered flows, screens, and interactions with a very high standard of visual quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
You develop and scale design systems, components, tokens, and UI standards and ensure their consistent application across products and platforms.
Together with UX, Product, and Development, you define viable design principles and translate user needs, business goals, and technical requirements into compelling product solutions.
You actively drive UI quality forward, identify inconsistencies and optimization potential, and develop pragmatic, scalable solutions.
You specifically use AI tools for exploration, prototyping, systemization, and modern UI workflows and continuously develop existing working methods.
You work closely with Product, UX, Development, and Data and accompany features from exploration to implementation.
You confidently manage design decisions in exchange with clients and stakeholders, moderate differing requirements, and can clearly justify your decisions.
You ensure technically sound, responsive, and accessibility-compliant implementation and work closely with frontend teams on component-based solutions.
You ensure an efficient design-to-development process and further develop handoff and design system workflows together with the involved teams.

Requirements

Extensive experience as a Product or UI/UX Designer in the digital product environment, ideally in consulting, agency, or client-facing project settings.
Outstanding UI skills and a very strong feel for visual quality, typography, layout, interaction, and interface details.
In-depth experience in designing complex digital products and the ability to independently manage design tasks from discovery and conception to implementation.
Deep experience in building, further developing, and scaling design systems, components, design tokens, and reusable UI patterns.
Very proficient use of Figma, especially Auto Layout, Components, Variables, Prototyping, and Dev Mode.
Very good understanding of frontend technologies, dev handoff, and component-based development processes.
Experience in ensuring design quality and consistency across larger products, platforms, or different teams.
Ability to structure complex requirements, convincingly advocate for design decisions, and pragmatically align with Product, UX, Tech, clients, and other stakeholders.
Confidence in workshops, presentations, and client meetings, as well as the ability to conduct technical discussions independently.
Active use of AI tools in the design process, for example for exploration, prototyping, systemization, or more efficient design workflows.
Experience with scaling, multi-brand, or white-label design systems.
Experience with design tokens, Storybook, or design-to-code workflows.
Experience with AI-powered design systems, generative UI approaches, or AI-based prototyping workflows.
Experience with data-driven product decisions, product analytics, and experimentation.
