About the Role
Old Mission is seeking an ETF Sales Trader in London to build and maintain trading relationships with institutional clients. This role involves executing client trading strategies using the firm's technology and global trading desks, ensuring a positive client experience within a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients.
- Act as a central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Execute ETF block orders via RFQ platforms or voice, and manage working orders.
- Cross-sell services with other global trading desks within Old Mission.
- Travel to industry events and client meetings as needed.
- Provide clients with pre/post-trade information.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a sales trading role (Fixed Income, ETFs, and/or Equities).
- Experience working orders and/or executing portfolios.
- Understanding of sell-side OMS (FlexTrade preferred).
- Experience with TradeWeb.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with customers and internal trade desks.
- Team player with a go-getter attitude.
- Series 7 required.
- Existing relationships with European Institutional clients are a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
