As a Hairdressing & Barbering Tutor, you will make a powerful contribution to people across Westminster by providing hands-on, expert teaching to learners. Your responsibilities will include preparing course outlines, lesson plans, coordinating resources, teaching two days a week, monitoring learners, and assessing their work.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare course outlines and lesson plans.
  • Coordinate resources and materials.
  • Teach 2 days a week.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and behaviour.
  • Offer support and guidance to learners.
  • Assess and provide feedback on learner's work.
  • Undertake one-to-ones and tutorials.

Requirements

  • Established professional with experience in hairdressing and barbering.
  • Delivered training or teaching in a face-to-face environment.
  • Used online e-portfolio systems for assessing and quality assessing work.
  • Team player with excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
  • Capable of inspiring and motivating learners.
