Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee operations, ensuring excellent provider and staff relations.
  • Manage to metrics and best practices, optimize revenue, and manage expenses.
  • Develop and execute annual operating plan goals.
  • Responsible for service expansion, program development, and growth.
  • Ensure quality improvement and enforce compliance standards.
  • Develop systems to maximize patient access, satisfaction, and staff/provider efficiency.
  • Responsible for performance improvement, staff selection, scheduling, and development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams for program planning and implementation.
  • Manage budget preparation, financial analysis, and staff supervision.
  • Serve as primary backup for Supervisor.
  • Directly oversee employees in cost centers/divisions.
  • Develop and accomplish objectives, strategies, and tactics for practices.
  • Manage staffing plan and clinic operations, partnering with Nurse Manager.
  • Identify teams/committees necessary to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor operating performance standards for clinic operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends in physician and clinic practice operations.
  • Institute corrective actions, reallocate resources, and reprioritize plans.
  • Develop and maintain staffing and divisional structure, and operating procedures.
  • Establish and staff appropriate intra and interdepartmental committees.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure unified efforts to achieve goals.
  • Establish timely and effective communications with staff.
  • Communicate relevant issues to Director for input, decision, or knowledge.
  • Coordinate services and integrate operations with other departments.
  • Establish positive working relationships with management, physicians, and staff.
  • Support creative and innovative interaction among staff.
  • Investigate and follow up on all patient concerns.
  • Attend meetings and serve on committees as requested.
  • Accept responsibility for all aspects of leadership.
  • Manage all day-to-day operations of assigned practice locations.
  • Oversee all central clerical support and services at assigned practices.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for systems, care, and service delivery problems.
  • Collaborate to address provider behavior issues.
  • Evaluate and maintain performance improvement standards and measures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements.
  • Lead accreditation and certification processes.
  • Develop readiness action plans for practice locations.
  • Oversee Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to safety.
  • Ensure highest levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Create action plans to track patient satisfaction and report progress.
  • Support Relationship Based Care practice councils.
  • Review and report on patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Manage clinic and cost center assignments.
  • Manage budget responsibility.
  • Manage program responsibility.
  • Manage responsibility for multiple professional cost centers, divisions, and/or sites.
  • Manage a multispecialty facility supporting more than one BMG department.
  • Manage FTE responsibility.
  • Manage practitioner responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience required.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required.
