  • Ensure compliance with NYC Aging, DOHMH, HACCP, USDA, and other applicable requirements related to food safety, sanitation, portioning, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Maintain required meal program records, including meal attendance, temperature and self-inspection logs, and inventory records, and count, reconcile, and document meal contributions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate with the NYC Aging Nutrition Advisor and DOHMH during audits, inspections, and monitoring visits, and ensure findings and violations are addressed and corrective actions implemented in collaboration with appropriate MCC leadership and staff.
  • Manage food service inventory, purchasing, deliveries, supplies, and expenses in collaboration with MCC program leadership and Kitchen staff to support daily operations and special events.
  • Maintain safe, sanitary, and properly equipped food service areas and coordinate with MCC Facilities on maintenance, repairs, equipment, and building needs.
  • Attend required NYC Aging, USDA, Educational Alliance, food safety, and other relevant trainings and meetings.

Requirements
