About the Role
Bring brands and ideas to life through thoughtful, impactful motion design. Combining strong creative thinking, design craft and technical skills to create work that is distinctive. As a Motion Designer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering motion graphics and editing content that help elevate brand narratives across a variety of mediums and touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Translate creative ideas and brand identities into compelling motion design.
- Develop and present motion concepts and explorations.
- Bring ideas to life through strong animation, editing and visual craft.
- Edit and craft content for brand films, social and other moving image formats.
- Explore different techniques and approaches to solve creative challenges.
- Respond positively to feedback and iterate quickly.
- Take ownership of work from initial exploration through to final delivery.
- Build on existing ideas rather than simply executing a brief.
- Understand the roles of the wider team and collaborate effectively to deliver timely solutions.
- Collaborate with internal expertise and client knowledge to create better motion graphics.
- Actively offer ideas and opportunities to other teams.
- Share knowledge and help grow the team through self-initiated learning.
Requirements
- An exciting portfolio that demonstrates the work that most represents and excites you.
- Strong After Effects skills, with experience or an interest in developing 3D skills.
- Experience with AI and emerging creative tools is a plus.
- A strong eye for design, typography, composition, colour and visual storytelling, with an understanding of how these principles translate into motion.
- Willing to experiment with new tools and workflows.
- Ability to adapt your approach depending on the creative challenge.
- Interested in understanding why a technique works, not just how to execute it.
- An enthusiasm for design, motion graphics and brand experience.

Work Type
- Hybrid working policy, minimum 2 days pw in the studio
- 2 weeks work from anywhere, by agreement with line manager
