About the Role
Support the financial department across various European countries, participating in audit processes and year-end closings.
Responsibilities
- Manage/Review all STAT work in allocated portfolio
- Prepare monthly tasks such as Flux analysis and Balance sheet recons
- Analyze accounts monthly to identify and resolve unusual transactions
- Provide guidance and mentorship to STAT accounting staff
- Prepare year-end financial close activities, including US to local GAAP reconciliations and Local GAAP financial statements
- Act as key figure for quarterly and year-end audits and main contact for auditors regarding PBC list preparation
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax, and finance projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Good MS Office Skills
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
- At least B2 level of German
- Good knowledge of Accounting principles
- 2-3 years experience working on accounting
- Ability to organize large amounts of data
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to travel
- SAP ERP knowledge required
