About the Role

The Night Auditor is responsible for preparing and processing all night audit checklist tasks and reports. This role focuses on delivering and exceeding guest expectations, executing brand service standards, resolving guest challenges, and ensuring accuracy in nightly posting and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Check hotel guests in and out in a confident, professional, and personalized manner.
  • Welcome and register hotel guests, explain accommodations, and establish credit or payment method.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, amenities, and local area information.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks' standards.
  • Take hotel reservations accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure immediate response to all guest comments and concerns for timely, friendly, and efficient resolution.
  • Maintain accuracy with all accounting, cash handling, and billing procedures.
  • Follow tax-exempt policies and procedures.
  • Answer all calls in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Use hotel communication tools to log and notify associates and supervisors of pertinent information.
  • Provide accounting support by ensuring all revenues are posted to the correct department, balancing the guest ledger daily, and completing necessary reports.
  • Submit appropriate reports to corporate in a timely manner.
  • Assist with other tasks or duties as requested by management.
