About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with professionals across Foreign Exchange Sales & Trading, Interest Rate Derivatives, International Solutions, and Trade Finance.
  • Gain firsthand exposure to a dynamic, client-facing, revenue-generating Markets business.
  • Monitor market developments and economic events, understanding their influence on global financial markets, interest rates, currencies, and geopolitical factors.
  • Analyze financial and market data to identify insights and communicate findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Support research, analytics, strategic initiatives, process improvements, and technology projects.
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials, market commentary, and business development resources.
  • Help coordinate client events and engagement activities.
  • Collaborate on projects requiring quantitative analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Participate in professional development, networking, and community service events.
  • Complete a project focused on solving a business challenge or improving a process, culminating in a presentation to senior leaders.
  • Receive mentorship and guidance from managers and program leaders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics.
  • Strong interest in global financial markets, macroeconomics, foreign exchange, fixed income, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with data and performing quantitative analysis using tools such as Python, SQL, Excel VBA, or similar technologies.
  • 3.0 minimum GPA.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs.
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
