About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our QMS in alignment with industry standards and customer requirements. This role is critical to ensuring compliance, driving operational excellence, and supporting product quality in a fast-paced fabless semiconductor environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and update quality procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Assist in planning and conducting internal audits; support external audits and customer assessments.
- Support change management process and customer communications.
- Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collect and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports for management reviews and quality performance dashboards.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Support supplier quality management activities as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Quality Management Systems within semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, 8D, 5-Why Root Cause Analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience with fabless semiconductor processes and supplier quality management.
- Proficiency in QMS software and data analysis tools.
- Proficient with Visio Flowcharting tools.
