About the Role
As Director, Sales Enablement, you will build and lead the strategy for engaging audiences in a forward-thinking channel-based communication strategy. You will accelerate growth by equipping sales teams with the strategies, tools, and training they need to prospect new opportunities and cultivate relationships through the early and mid-funnel. You will lead Sales Enablement Managers, set clear direction, and ensure enablement priorities align with business strategy, advisor needs, and growth objectives. You will serve as a senior partner to Sales, Product Marketing, and Content Marketing, and represent Sales Enablement independently with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the enablement strategy, owning the strategy for prospecting and cultivating stages of the sales funnel, aligned with enterprise and business-unit growth objectives.
- Translate business and product strategies into clear, actionable sales enablement priorities, including the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) capabilities.
- Define success for early-stage sales motions and ensure enablement efforts drive measurable impact.
- Anticipate sales needs and proactively shape plans.
- Build capability and lead the team, developing Sales Enablement Managers by setting direction, clarifying priorities, and building confidence and credibility with sales leaders.
- Oversee the design and delivery of pipeline enablement programs that improve sales confidence, consistency, and effectiveness in prospecting and relationship development.
- Ensure enablement content, tools, and training are practical, sales-ready, and easy to adopt.
- Advance personalization by leading the development and adoption of personalization capabilities that help sales teams deliver relevant, timely, and audience-specific prospecting and cultivating experiences.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Content Marketing so enablement assets, messaging, and programs are informed by audience insights and aligned with personalization strategies.
- Establish direction, standards, and governance for personalization within Sales Enablement to support consistency, scalability, and alignment with business priorities.
- Equip managers and teams to use personalization capabilities effectively and report results to business partners against key priorities and initiatives.
- Partner and influence across the business, acting as a trusted senior partner to Sales leadership, Product Marketing, and Content Marketing.
- Represent Marketing independently in sales meetings, planning forums, and leadership discussions.
- Bring together business insight, sales realities, and data to influence decisions and provide clear recommendations.
- Plan, measure, and optimize by leading structured planning and prioritization to balance demand, capacity, and impact.
- Use insights, feedback, and performance indicators to refine enablement strategies over time.
- Monitor adoption and effectiveness of enablement initiatives and adjust the approach as needed.
- Contribute to broader enablement operating models, ways of working, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A university degree and 6 to 9 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of channel businesses, the sales cycle, and personalization strategy.
- Marketing experience and the ability to identify and anticipate opportunities, regulatory requirements, potential issues, and business impacts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple interconnected workstreams, manage priorities, and provide clear strategic direction.
- Strong strategic and financial analysis skills, including the ability to synthesize information, communicate progress, and develop KPI scorecards.
- A results-oriented approach and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, influential communication skills and the ability to build productive cross-functional relationships.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- This role assigns and schedules work, conducts formal performance reviews, and has hiring and termination authority for managed team members.

- $99,300 - $182,800
