About the Role
As a Client Implementation & Transitions Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and efficient implementation of new business and change activities. You will serve as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders, taking ownership of client change events and ensuring successful implementation through a high level of detail. This role allows for a hybrid work model, balancing remote and office work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of client onboarding, transition, and change events, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
- Manage multiple implementation projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing activities while maintaining high standards of quality and control.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Facilitate all interactions with Custodians and Administrators regarding setup arrangements and complete market opening and trading documentation.
- Coordinate transaction processing, including in-kind trade booking and exception resolution.
- Facilitate operational readiness across front, middle, and back-office teams to ensure successful event delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Contracting and KYC/AML teams to ensure timely completion of legal administration within planned timeframes.
- Ensure accurate static data setup on internal systems and maintain client and portfolio reference data.
- Update and complete checklists and event scheduling applications for all events, ensuring adherence to procedures for risk-free event support.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience before, during, and after events.
- Chair meetings with internal teams in preparation for, during, and post-event.
- Provide timely, effective, and accurate query investigation and resolution.
- Continuously focus on risk excellence and risk mitigation, challenging existing processes where perceived risks and gaps exist.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, events, or operational initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with institutional investment products and operational processes.
- Experience of client onboarding, account opening, market set-up, custody operations, or portfolio transitions would be advantageous.

- Articulate and able to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Ability to plan and run multiple priorities and tasks with the skills to adapt and be flexible to change in a delivery-focused environment.
- Understanding of investment markets and the settlement of securities, particularly free-of-payment trades.
- Appreciation of asset transition/inspecie mechanics helpful but not required.
- Appreciation of the broader requirements for successful client onboarding and a drive to continuously improve the client experience.

- Degree qualified, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry qualifications (IMC, CISI or equivalent) are advantageous.
