About the Role
The Markets Product Manager (Assistant Vice President) is responsible for executing a portfolio of initiatives and owning the design and delivery of product capability, trading workflows, and infrastructure for State Street Markets Foreign Exchange Sales, Trading, and eFX teams. This role involves strategy implementation, client-facing product development, geographic expansions, operating models, and risk oversight across multiple global sites, partnering with various business functions.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategic and tactical initiatives with business leaders.
- Partner with technology, operations, and other business partners to deliver products and infrastructure aligned with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Identify products, trading infrastructure, and operating models necessary for strategy and initiative implementation.
- Define product features, develop product overviews, workflows, and visual artifacts.
- Drive technology solutions and deliverables to meet product requirements.
- Understand the full trading flow life cycle and business objectives.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs to recommend solutions.
- Identify and frame risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
- Define workflows, processes, policies, and procedures for trading businesses.
- Communicate, collaborate, and develop relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Build relationships with business partners to ensure understanding of business needs for robust solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years industry experience (Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst preferred)
- Subject matter expertise in trading and capital markets (FX, Rates, Fixed Income preferred)
- Demonstrated success executing multiple projects and business initiatives within complex organizational settings.
- Capability to interact, negotiate, and influence at all levels of management and across organizations.
- Outstanding organizational, analytical, and consultative abilities.
