About the Role
Join our team at Hamilton College as a PM Grill Cook, delivering great food and service to our campus community. This role involves working from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, including one weekend day, with a pay range of $18-$19 per hour. We also have an alternative Grill Cook position from 8 PM to 4 AM, Thursday through Saturday, paying $18-$20 per hour. Responsibilities
- Prepare all grill items to order according to the daily menu.
- Set up, break down, and clean the grill station.
- Prepare service line for operation as instructed by Executive Chef and/or Management.
- Check quality of food items, ensuring they meet standards of taste, appearance, and correct temperature.
- Report any substandard quality to the Executive Chef and/or Management.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner using Smile Plus Hospitality Imperatives.
Requirements
- Standing and/or walking - 100% of time.
- Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Frequently lifting up to 20 lbs.
