About the Role
The Baugenossenschaft „Freie Scholle“ zu Berlin eG is seeking a skilled SHK / HLS mechanic with a focus on sanitary and heating technology to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work exclusively within the cooperative's own housing stock in the north of Berlin, ensuring short commutes and a stable work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and maintenance work within the cooperative's own housing stock.
- Renovate sanitary and heating technology in apartments and buildings, especially during re-rentals.
- Maintain and clean utility systems.
- Independently plan and prepare work processes.
- Coordinate with other trades and provide support as needed.
- Document completed work.
- Undertake winter service work in the housing stock during appropriate weather conditions.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a mechanic for sanitary, heating, and air conditioning systems, or a comparable relevant qualification in the SHK/HLS sector.
- In justified exceptional cases, comprehensive, proven professional experience equivalent to completed vocational training may be considered.
- New entrants are welcome if their vocational training is fully completed.
- Possession of a Class B driver's license.
- Proficiency with common tools and machinery.
- Basic knowledge of occupational safety.
- Reliable, meticulous, and independent work ethic.
- Friendly and service-oriented demeanor when interacting with tenants.
- Willingness to work in a team and support other trades.
