About the Role
The Pioneer offers journalism that goes beyond the first answer, providing context, analysis, and diverse perspectives to help individuals form their own opinions. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about independent, ad-free, reader-funded journalism.
Responsibilities
- Independently write political contributions and reports.
- Create the weekly newsletter 'Hauptstadt – Das Briefing' in coordination with the capital team.
- Conduct research on current political topics on the media ship or at the Bundestag.
- Contribute daily to topic selection for our products and share personal ideas on political events.
- Participate in live events, press conferences, and training sessions to build a political network.
Requirements
- Completed university degree and journalistic training.
- Previous editorial experience.
- Passion for writing and research, especially in politics.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for a digital and dynamic environment.
- Commitment to online journalism and our mission.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
