About the Role
Assist hotel guests with personal services, including transportation, business services, entertainment, and managing housekeeping and maintenance requests, to create a welcoming experience.
Responsibilities
- Transport guest luggage from arrival to assigned room.
- Transport guest luggage during room changes.
- Transport guest luggage to the point of departure.
- Assist in locating guest's lost luggage.
- Tag, store, and retrieve luggage from the holding room.
- Explain hotel facilities and features while escorting guests to their rooms.
- Identify fire exits and explain room safety features.
- Demonstrate the use of room keys to guests.
- Place guest luggage inside the room.
- Explain guest room features, including climate control, electronics, and amenities.
- Offer packing/unpacking services and explain pressing and laundry services.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel functions to direct guests.
- Provide accurate directions for local transportation.
- Maintain an accurate log of Bell Person assistance requests.
Requirements
- Less than high school education
- Six months to one-year related experience
