About the Role

This Product Manager role is within the Digital Platforms and Channels team, responsible for Payments, CashPro® Forecasting and Information Reporting, together with User Experience and Access Controls, across the CashPro® Online channel for the EMEA markets.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Payments product suite within CashPro® Online for EMEA, including strategy, roadmap and end-to-end lifecycle management, together with the underlying technology infrastructure, external partners and utilities that support it.
  • Own CashPro® Forecasting for EMEA, ensuring accurate and timely cash flow forecasting capabilities are delivered to clients and aligned with the global product roadmap.
  • Own Information Reporting for CashPro® in EMEA including ensuring regional requirements are documented and form part of the global product roadmap.
  • Own the end-to-end User Experience for CashPro® Online, partnering with design and technology teams to improve usability, simplicity and client adoption.
  • Manage Access Controls (client entitlements, security profiles and user permissioning) for CashPro® Online, ensuring appropriate governance and risk controls are in place and maintained.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the product capability, including user interface, middleware applications, database, payment processing engines, entitlement/access control configurations, as well as all types of customisation preferences we offer to clients.
  • Detailed knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends within the channels and payment space.
  • Take initiative to develop new products and improve existing offerings based on industry trends and regulations, whilst factoring client feedback.
  • Partner with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels within the region and across the globe (Global Product Teams, Sales, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and external vendors) to bring to life their vision for the product in conjunction with the firm-wide strategies. Especially close engagement with technology and operations given the technical nature of the product set.
  • Provide support in business development efforts by assisting with Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and sales presentations and conduct client engagements in order to help effectively on-board and optimize their CashPro® experience.
  • Participate in product planning sessions and enhancement roadmap discussions by providing voice-of-the-client feedback, bring unique experiences and knowledge to the discussion.
  • Close collaboration with other product managers within the region and across the globe in adjacent subject matter areas, such as Receivables, CashPro® Service, CashPro® Administration, Transactional Foreign Exchange, and Liquidity, given the interdependencies with Payments, Forecasting and Information Reporting.
  • Ability to build business cases among competing priorities, to influence the product strategy both at the regional and global level, to drive global consistency, enhance capability, improve user experience, and facilitate operational efficiencies.
  • Lead on responses to internal audit and risk reviews, manage risk parameters and be responsible for regulatory reporting that is relevant to the product set; identify and remediate issues and regulatory change, via forum such as impact assessments and project implementation.

Requirements

  • Experience in a comparable business, ideally within a financial institution, or other payments business also considered, ideally in a technology-based product management capacity.
  • Advanced knowledge of bank treasury services product, operating and connectivity platforms, products and capabilities, and a strong understanding of client processes and back-office systems, particularly across payments, cash forecasting and reporting platforms
  • Experience owning or influencing digital User Experience, ideally partnering directly with UX/UI design teams, running client usability research or journey mapping, and translating client feedback into product/design requirements.
  • Experience/appreciation for the complexities from global operations and legacy systems, with cross border and multi-jurisdictional exposure.
  • Experience in technology middleware and system design, as well as understanding the role technology plays within the payments landscape in terms of both innovations and regulation.
  • Experience in both technical and non-technical project management, meeting deadlines and pushing product development to market in a timely fashion.
  • Risk Manager who is keen attention to spotting risks and issues, as well as taking action to address or remediate systematically.
  • Comfortable setting priorities and working on longer-term initiatives, regular routines and dealing with ad hoc unforeseen demands both internally and externally.
  • Ability to voice up for the region; proficient in making business cases among competing priorities across different product teams, to influence team members both within region and globally in an effective way with an evidence-based approach.
  • Excellent communicator with both written and verbal communication, able to tailor approach to audiences; with the ability to translate context between technical and non-technical teams and be able to clearly communicate and influence clients and business partners while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Commitment to personal accountability, taking responsibility for actions and decisions, fulfilling your obligations, tasks, and goals.
  • Background or working exposure to EBICS and/or Transactional Foreign Exchange (TFX) would be an advantage
