About the Role
This role involves assisting guests, managing hotel operations, and serving in Food & Beverage outlets, contributing to a fun and relaxed guest environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests and create positive experiences.
- Manage hotel room inventory and guest check-in/check-out.
- Operate Food & Beverage outlets.
- Manage all bills and payments accurately.
- Prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, receive deliveries, and organize back-of-house areas.
- Adhere to all food safety, licensing, and health and safety policies.
- Support other Crew Members and follow directions from Crew Leaders.
- Promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
Requirements
- High energy and a do-it-yourself attitude.
- Enjoy interacting with guests.
- Skilled multi-tasker capable of balancing hard work with excellent service.
- Understand the difference between being relaxed and being lazy.
- Clear communicator fluent in English.
- Experience within the service industry.
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros.
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
- Personal experience of travel and the travel industry.
