About the Role
The role focuses primarily on servicing and troubleshooting low-voltage communications and physical security systems, along with smaller installation projects.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CCTV, access control, burglar alarm, and phone systems
- Perform low-voltage cabling work, small installations, and system upgrades
- Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Test systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Travel to client locations throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding service issues, findings, and completed work
- Maintain accurate documentation of service and installation work
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with low-voltage cabling maintenance and troubleshooting
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with CCTV, access control, burglar alarm, and phone systems
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with the team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to travel to client sites throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
