About the Role
Global enterprises are turning to F5 Distributed Cloud to secure their multi-cloud future. We are building a permanent, remote-first delivery team in Australia to help deliver it. This is a full-time role with real ownership, client relationships, and a long-term seat on our F5 practice.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Deliver secure application networking, API protection (WAAP), and DDoS mitigation for enterprise customers globally.
- Automate deployment and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
- Own the technical relationship with clients directly, providing proactive guidance.
Requirements
- Hands-on F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) experience, or deep F5 BIG-IP / WAAP / API security experience with the ability to ramp fast.
- Strong networking and security fundamentals, including BGP, DNS, IPSec, firewalls, and routing.
- Kubernetes and cloud-native (AWS/Azure/GCP) exposure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working across time zones with distributed teams and clients.
