About the Role
The company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the independent management and further development of a sales territory in Northern and Central Germany. The company offers a broad portfolio of technically sophisticated components and system solutions and is expanding its regional field sales team as part of a newly established sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Acquisition of new customers and support of existing customers in the postal code areas: 1*, 2* and 4*
- Technical consulting and solution finding at the customer's site regarding the entire product range in the field of mechanical and electrical drive technology (e.g., linear technology, linear motors, servo motors, etc.)
- Independent planning, coordination, and execution of customer visits in the field
- Approximately 40% regional travel within the territory to customers
- Market observation and potential expansion in the sales territory
- Close cooperation with internal sales for offer processing
- Participation in trade fairs and sales events
Requirements
- Preferably a completed technical degree, further training as a technician, or a technical apprenticeship with many years of experience (e.g., electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or similar)
- Professional experience as a sales engineer, application engineer, or technical sales representative for complex products, preferably in the field of mechatronic or electrical drive technology
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Self-organized, independent, results-oriented way of working
- Enjoyment of working with people
- Willingness to travel, flexibility, driver's license class B
