About the Role

This role encompasses all facets of investor relations, including supervision of team members, training, review of financial documents, and client reporting. You will act as a subject matter expert and ensure adherence to controls and procedures.

Responsibilities

Supervise work performed by Investor Relations and Senior Investor Relations Specialists
Participate in training of team members and assist the Account Manager in staff development
Review trade packs, statements, and NAVs
Monitor and ensure proper reconciliation of investor transactions and complete documentation
Review and approve cash receipts and payments
Develop and review custom client reporting, liaising with IT for automation
Review investor and client correspondence
Ensure adherence to controls and procedures, and prepare management control reports
Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements
Provide excellent service to investors and clients through direct contact and team support
Take a leadership role as a subject matter expert for the department
Maintain knowledge of current regulatory and compliance environment
Participate in projects as required

Requirements

Minimum 5 years in Financial Services, preferably Hedge Fund Administration and/or Client Service with exposure to accounting and performance reporting
Experience managing and training staff/people leadership
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues including Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) policies
Strong client relationship skills
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
Ability to work with large volumes of data
Ability to work independently and understand when to escalate
Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures
